How to Set Up Your Electricity Service When You Move in Maryland
When you move in or to Maryland, taking your electricity supplier with you is simple! Just find a plan that you like, and let us know what your selection is. We’ll deal with the property’s current supplier and utility to ensure the changeover is seamless. Then you’re powered up and ready to go!
If you are already a Just Energy customer, we can move your plan to your new address, too. Just give us 45 days notice. We’ll ask you for a few details, and then take care of the rest.
Does Your Maryland Energy Provider Require a Security Deposit?
No one likes security deposits, and qualified customers may be able to get deposit-free electricity. Call in to find out if you’re eligible to have your deposit waived.
How to Renew Your Energy Contract
If you’re a Just Energy customer coming to the end of your electricity contract, we’ll send you a reminder 30 days before your term’s end date. If you’ve been a Just Energy customer for a while, we may have better options available to you today! Check out our plan offerings to find one that suits your lifestyle.
If you decide you do renew your contract, but then change your mind, we’ll give you a 15 day grace period in which you can cancel without paying a termination fee.
