*Electricity supply is provided by Commerce Energy Inc. d/b/a Tara Energy. Commerce Energy is owned by Just Energy Inc., a publicly traded company.
Just Energy and Tara Energy are independent energy suppliers, neither of which is related to your utility, the government or any consumer group. You will receive just one bill from your utility that includes your utility's distribution charges and Just Energy/Tara Energy's natural gas and electricity supply charges. Your agreement will not be processed and you will not be charged if you cancel by contacting Just Energy (for natural gas)/Tara Energy (for electricity) or your utility prior to the 10th business day after your utility sends notice confirming you have switched your natural gas or electricity supply. You may also cancel without an exit fee within 30 days from the date of your first bill. If you cancel after 30 days from the date of your first bill, you will be charged a $50 exit fee.
