No, Just Energy does not bill separately from your utility for electricity. It is simply listed as your supplier.
Your contract with Just Energy covers your electricity supply costs and JustGreen (if chosen), as a separate line item on your bill.
You may be charged a one time switching fee. This is charged by the utility when you switch to a retailer such as Just Energy.
In Massachusetts, it can take anywhere between 10 and 150 days for Just Energy to become your electricity supplier. If it has been longer than that and you still do not see Just Energy listed on your utility bill, please contact us.

Budget billing means that you pay a set amount each month for the bill. The company will look at the amount you spent last year and then add a percentage to it, to cover the cost of inflation and divide the amount over twelve months. You can contact your local utility to see if they offer budget billing in your area.

With 45 days notice, please contact Just Energy with your move request. Depending on your area, we will either process your move or terminate the agreement (at our sole discretion).

If your service ever needs to be disconnected you will receive a cancellation letter from Just Energy advising of the reason for the cancellation and in order to have service reconnected you must contact Just Energy. If the finance department approves your re-contract even due to non-payment, Just Energy will make arrangements for reconnection to your service address.
