Mississauga, ON - January 07, 2009 - Ontario Energy Savings L.P. (OES), a leading independent energy retailer, and Nationwide Energy Advisors (NEA), a licensed provider of energy evaluations for Natural Resources Canada's ecoENERGY Retrofit for Homes program, today announced the launch of a new promotional initiative designed to make switching to a high efficiency tankless hot water heater an even more advantageous option for consumers.
Through this initiative, consumers who rent or purchase a new Rinnai high efficiency tankless hot water heater through Newten Home Comfort L.P., an affiliate of OES, will now receive a discounted initial energy evaluation through NEA. By undertaking this initial evaluation, consumers will gain access to the $500 in Government grants made available to those who choose to make the switch to a new high efficiency tankless hot water heater.
What's more, these evaluations, which are the first step to increasing a home's overall energy efficiency, can also lead to increased home comfort and resale value, reduced energy bills, mortgage discounts and a greener environment.
"We're very pleased to be working with NEA on this initiative," said Ken Hartwick, President and CEO of OES. "Their experience and expertise in conducting these energy evaluations combined with their commitment to excellence in customer service will definitely make it easier for consumers to take full advantage of the benefits associated with this positive environmental choice."
In addition to conducting the audit, NEA also helps customers obtain the grants by completing the necessary paperwork and by forwarding the applications to the relevant government body on their behalf. This allows customers to focus on enjoying the benefits of "going tankless", which include reduced water heating costs, reduced levels of greenhouse gas emissions and an endless supply of hot water.
